ALL SAINTS' CHILTON CHURCH CHOIR

The choir of All Saints' Chilton is a small but friendly bunch of people who would welcome more singers whether sopranos, altos, tenors, basses (or anything in between!)

Our contribution to church life lies in four main areas:

  • support for the congregation
  • set pieces during services
  • special items at major festivals such as Christmas, Easter and Harvest
  • response to requests for special occasions such as weddings and local concerts.

Our regular practice time is Wednesday evenings at 7.30pm, usually for about an hour, in the church. Sometimes our core membership is supplemented by singers who can't join us on a regular basis.

We present a wide variety of church music from unison to two, three, and occasionally four part harmony - Tallis to Taize, Mozart to Mission Praise.

As well as enjoying singing together, we also hold other informal events such as occasional BBQ's, parties and other social events.

If you have an interest in church music, are enthusiastic about it, and are willing to spend some time attending practices, come and join us all one Wednesday evening without obligation. You will be made very welcome.
